Danilo De Luca was born in Naples, Italy. He studied at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples (the oldest conservatory in the world). At the age of 10 passes the entrance exam and his talent gives him the opportunity to be admitted directly to the 4th year. In 1997 he obtained his Master 2 in flute and the first prize. He is renowned among the best musicians of the conservatory of the year and the concert for his award has had resonance on several music magazines.

He began to be recruited in several chamber music orchestras and symphonic music. At the same time he is a flute teacher: first as an assistant at the Conservatory of Naples and later in other conservatories and schools of the region and national. He had the opportunity to work in special schools with students with various problems (such as autism and Down syndrome). Through the encouraging results obtained during his tenuous lessons at all levels (from elementary to specialist), he is convinced that music has the power to solve certain communication difficulties. He decided to continue his studies at the music therapy faculty in Pescara to deepen the fields of application of music. He obtained his second Master 2 in Music Therapy and Art Therapy in 2006.

He continued to improve himself in the practice of the instrument and to perform as a solo flutist in numerous events in Italy and abroad.

Transferred to France at the beginning of 2014 to improve at «Piccolo Flute» with the famous professor Jean-Louis Beaumadier, teacher at the National Conservatory of Marseille. In 2016 he obtained his Degree with distinction with the highest marks and the jury, presided by Maxence Larrieu, awarded him the First Grand Prix of the City of Marseille 2016. In January 2018 he obtained the Diploma of State of Flute Teacher at the Institute Superior of the Arts of Toulouse.

At the same time, he shares the teaching (which he has been practicing for 20 years) with his concert activity, essential for his musical life.

He is regularly invited to the Volos International Evmelia Festival in Greece, during the concert season at the Kouvoutsaki Museum in Athens. He works as a soloist with various lyric and symphonic orchestras, such as "Orchestra dei Laghi" (Gallarate - Italy), "Italian Youth Orchestra" (OGI) (Fiesole - Florence). He worked as a piccolo in the "Pescara Symphony Orchestra" (Italy); as a solo flute in the Accademia San Giovanni Orchestra (Italy); the Collegium Philarmonicum Orchestra (Italy); "I Solisti di Napoli" (Italy); "Multicultural Mediterranean Orchestra" (Italy), (as multi-instrumentalist), Naples Opera Orchestra "San Carlo", Orchester de Cannes (France) ... He currently works as a soloist with the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra.
